Xian Lim feels flattered that he’s Vice Ganda’s new crush
Xian Lim still can’t get over his weeklong stint as a guest judge on Showtime. He thanked the live audience and TV viewers who had a great time watching him play different kinds of musical instruments as his daily “sample.” “Nagpapasalamat ako sa napaka-warm na pagtanggap sa akin ng mga madlang people. Sa Showtime, I was very happy na nabigyan ako ng chance na ipakita ‘yung iba kong skills na hindi ko usually naipapakita. Sa mga sample ko naipakita ko na I can play the piano, guitar, other kinds of musical instruments. I’m very happy na hinahayaan nila akong sa sample ko. I love Showtime!”
Aside from being an actor, model, and basketball player, Xian is also a music lover. The actor had previously revealed his plans of taking up a music course should his schedule permit him. If ever he would be asked again to guest again on Showtime, the 22 year-old promised that he still has many “samples” in store to surprise the madlang people. “In case gusto pa nila akong bumalik, I promise na marami pa akong nakahandang sample para sa lahat. Masaya talaga ‘yung show, everyone’s enjoying, the hosts, mga hurado. Nung last day ko nga nalungkot talaga ako. Kaya nung na-invite ako uli para sa birthday ni Vice I was very happy.”
Aside from his samples, Xian also charmed the audience most especially the girls with his good looks. In a span of just a week, Xian’s exposure in Showtime made him the new “crush ng bayan.” “Thank you! Thank you talaga!” was all he could say when told about this.
Mainstay judge Vice Ganda even declared that Xian is now his new crush. When asked if he is willing to play leading man opposite the comedian, Xian said, “I will be really happy kung sabihin niya. As long as magiging maganda, ‘yung samahan ng lahat, kung alam kong mage-enjoy talaga ako, I will do it.”
Xian shared that since his stint in Showtime, he and Vice have started to become good friends and would often communicate through text and Twitter. “Nagkakamustahan pa rin kami sa text, sa Twitter. Maganda ang samahan namin ni Vice,” said the actor.
