Vhong Navarro was very happy that a lot of people who have watched his movie Bulong say that he has a great on screen chemistry with co-star Angelica Panganiban. The dashing comedian further shared that he was really nervous during the premiere night of Bulong. But after watching the film, he couldn’t help but feel proud of the fact that they succeeded in mixing the elements of comedy, horror, and romance without confusing the audience. “Kasi nandun ang kaba ko, nawala lang yung kaba nung halos pagitna na yung pelikula. Ang gusto ko sa movie—hindi dahil ako ang bida—malinaw kasi yung pagkakatahi ng storya. So ‘pag napanood mo ito, hindi ka na magtatanong pagkatapos mo mapanood ang pelikula. Yung tanong mo bago ka lumabas ng sinehan nasagot na. So malinaw yung pagkakatahi nung comedy tsaka horror.”

Vhong’s torrid kissing scene with Bangs Garcia was also one of the notable scenes in Bulong. When asked how he felt while doing that intimate scene with the sexy actress, Vhong admitted that it was truly an overwhelming experience. “Ilang beses namin inulit, madaming shots tsaka merong effects, so sabi ko, ‘Bangs, ayoko na, I’m tired.’ Ha-ha-ha!
